Faver, doing strangers favours app for iPhone and iPad

Faver is an app that enables its users to do each other location-based favours.


If you need something from a location, where you cant immediately get yourself and where you dont know anybody personally, you can now ask a helpful stranger there to help you out.
The only thing you need to do is look up the desired location, and select the user you wish to contact in that area. 
If there is no other user there at that time, you can simply leave a quest-pin behind with instructions on what you need so that later passersby might help you.


If a user spots something that could be of interest (e.g. a yummy ice cream or food truck, a hip pop-up store, or a local happy hour) or something that is problematic, (s)he can share its location with the Faver community by indicating it with a pin.


Faver thus allows you to have a reach outside of your own personal network and to access anything anywhere at the touch of an app! 

There are numerous possible use cases:


•Check out the vibe, waiting line or crowd at the pub, bar, club or even the supermarket before heading out to avoid unpleasant surprises upon arrival there;

•Ask your surroundings for an item you need (e.g. jumper cables) or a helping hand (e.g. to help you move out);

•Learn which ice cream/food trucks, pop-up shops or happy hours are near you;

•Leave a pinned quest behind on the spot in the park where you lost your earring;
